About Avernic
- Avernic is a self-service personal privacy planning platform. It reviews the information you provide about your products, general practices, spending, preferences, exposure, and personal circumstances to create prioritized recommendations.
- No. Avernic does not submit removal requests or continuously remove personal information. A report may identify data removal as relevant, compare free and paid approaches, or recommend a service when justified.
- No. Avernic does not provide enterprise threat intelligence, advanced threat hunting, nation-state analysis, or active surveillance detection. Its Personal Threat Model is a consumer planning tool.
- A Personal Threat Model is a structured view of what information, accounts, devices, and relationships matter most; which threat sources and exposure paths are realistically relevant; what could reasonably go wrong; what protections already exist; and which remaining actions deserve priority.
- The Personal Threat Model identifies what matters and why. The Personalized Privacy Plan determines what to keep, cancel, add, verify, and do next. The Complete Privacy Assessment combines both.

Data access and monitoring
- No. Avernic does not continuously monitor credit files, public records, financial accounts, or identity activity.
- No. Avernic is designed around the answers you provide and does not require account credentials.
- No. Never send Avernic passwords, recovery codes, backup codes, security answers, or other authentication secrets.
- No. Avernic does not install device agents, inspect files, scan networks, or remotely control devices.

Business model and recommendations
- Not currently. The free Checkup is live, but the paid Complete Privacy Assessment is in development and is not available for public purchase. Avernic may use clearly labeled monetized product links in the future; none are currently active.
- Avernic plans to earn revenue from paid assessments. The planned founding-pilot price is $49, public checkout is inactive, and future standard pricing is under review.
- Affiliate compensation does not determine whether a product is recommended. Free options, products already owned by the customer, and products without affiliate programs may be recommended. Products may also be excluded even when compensation is available.
- No. Some customers may identify unnecessary overlap, while others may need to add protection or may already have an efficient setup. Savings are not guaranteed.
- No. Avernic identifies relevant scenarios and likely exposure paths based on the answers supplied. It cannot predict whether a specific person will be targeted or whether an incident will occur.

Assessment and delivery
- The free Privacy Checkup preview appears immediately after submission. It surfaces a likely first priority, a likely strength, and one free improvement. Paid Complete Privacy Assessment reports are not currently sold or delivered.
- Most testers finish the free Privacy Checkup in about 10–15 minutes.
- Yes. The free preview is generated from your structured answers as soon as you submit. During early-access testing, submissions may be reviewed internally for quality-assurance purposes.
- You may use your browser to print the free Checkup or save a PDF locally. Avernic does not generate or retain that local file and does not currently provide accounts, persistent saved web reports, hosted downloads, or server-generated PDFs.
- Yes. Email hello@avernicprivacy.com to request deletion of your submission. Avernic may need to verify the request before acting on it. Some limited records may be retained where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or operational integrity.

Limitations
- No. Avernic provides educational planning and decision support. It does not replace advice or assistance from qualified legal, financial, cybersecurity, emergency, law-enforcement, medical, or victim-support professionals.
- Your report may confirm that important needs are already well covered, recommend only minor verification or maintenance, and identify risks that can reasonably be monitored or accepted. Avernic is not designed to manufacture unnecessary recommendations.
- Avernic is not designed to manage active stalking, domestic abuse, extortion, ongoing fraud, active account compromise, immediate physical danger, counter-surveillance, or incident response. Appropriate emergency, legal, law-enforcement, financial, victim-support, or qualified cybersecurity resources should be used.

Future plans
- A future Avernic Dashboard may support saved reports, completion tracking, refreshes, renewal reminders, and updated recommendations. Do not rely on these features until they are explicitly marked available.
- A future Privacy Plan Refresh is intended to support reassessment after product changes, renewals, moves, travel, household changes, or other material circumstances. Reassessment features are not currently enabled and will be explained before they open.
