What does Avernic do?
Avernic turns structured information you provide about your privacy tools, services, settings, and habits into findings based on your answers, practical priorities, and written next steps.
Is the Privacy Checkup really free?
Yes. The current Privacy Checkup costs $0, provides an immediate written web result, and does not require a payment method, account creation, passwords, or account access.
Does Avernic connect to my accounts or scan my devices?
No. Avernic works from the information you choose to provide. It does not request passwords, connect to accounts, scan devices, or monitor activity.
Will Avernic always recommend buying another tool?
No. Many plans will use only free, built-in, or already-owned options. Paid options appear only when they offer a meaningful advantage for your situation.
Paid reports
Is the Baseline Plan available now?
Yes. The Personalized Privacy Baseline Plan is available at the $9.99 founding price.
Do I need to complete the Free Privacy Checkup first?
No. The Free Privacy Checkup is optional. You can reuse applicable Checkup answers or use Direct Entry Core Setup, which asks the minimum foundational questions needed for the correct instructions.
When do I pay?
After you pass the eligibility and safety screen, complete the applicable intake, review your submitted setup, and confirm the plan is ready to purchase. Payment is the final step before automatic generation.
How long does delivery take?
Most Baseline Plans are delivered automatically within a few minutes after successful payment and completed intake. Delivery may take up to 24 hours. If Avernic cannot deliver your plan within 24 hours, you may choose to continue after the issue is resolved or receive a full refund. Initial private access is provided by a private link sent to the delivery email and expires 30 days after the order is created. That period includes payment processing and delivery time. Your delivery email shows the exact access expiration. Save or print a copy before access expires.
Is this a subscription?
No. The Baseline Plan is a $9.99 one-time purchase with no subscription or automatic renewal.
What does my purchase include?
One private personalized written plan based on your submitted facts, including your first 30 minutes, first week, applicable actions in sequence, official resources, and completion criteria.
Does the plan include revisions or updated reports?
Your purchase includes one plan based on the information you submit. It does not include revisions, updated reports, follow-up review, or a replacement plan after your setup or answers change.
How do I request a refund?
Use your personalized plan. If you do not believe it delivered at least as much value as you paid, request a full refund within 30 days of delivery. The refund applies to the amount paid to Avernic. It does not cover purchases made from third parties. To request a refund, email hello@avernicprivacy.com within 30 days of delivery using the email address associated with the purchase.
What happens if Avernic cannot deliver my plan?
If Avernic cannot deliver within 24 hours, you may choose to continue after the issue is resolved or receive a full refund. An unsupported or materially failed plan is not issued.
Does Avernic access my accounts?
No. Avernic does not access accounts, scan devices, or ask for passwords or recovery codes. The plan is based on the structured facts you submit.
Will Avernic always recommend buying something?
No. Many plans will use only free, built-in, or already-owned options. A paid product appears only when it offers a meaningful advantage for that customer.
Will Avernic always recommend the free option?
No. Free, built-in, and already-owned options remain eligible, but a paid option may be the better fit when it provides a meaningful capability, reduces ongoing work, supports the household, or combines several tools the customer genuinely values. Paid recommendations still must fit the customer’s needs and budget.
Does Avernic prefer bundles?
Not automatically. A broader product may make sense when it combines several useful capabilities and reduces complexity. Focused tools may be better when the customer needs only one function or prefers separate services.
Are any links affiliate links?
Some links may be affiliate links, which means Avernic may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not determine recommendation eligibility, priority, ranking, or ordering. Affiliate links are labeled where they appear.
What is the Complete Privacy Assessment?
It is one purchase for one written report. It does not include ongoing monitoring, implementation, continuing advice, a scheduled reassessment, a follow-up review, or a second report after 30 days. During the founding release, Avernic checks each Complete Privacy Assessment before delivery as a quality control step.
What is the Complete founding price?
The founding price is $49.99. Paid once. No subscription. The planned standard price is $99.99. Requesting founding access does not collect payment or guarantee an invitation.
Identity Exposure Assessment
How is Identity Exposure different from the Complete Privacy Assessment?
The Complete Privacy Assessment uses information you provide to organize your tools and protections. The $999 Identity Exposure Assessment adds consent-based analyst research of public and lawfully accessible sources and includes a personalized threat model plus the relevant Complete Privacy Assessment planning components.
Do I need to purchase both assessments?
No. The Identity Exposure Assessment includes the relevant Complete Privacy Assessment planning components, so a customer does not need to purchase both.
Can I request an Identity Exposure Assessment for someone else?
No. An adult may request and consent to an assessment only for themselves. The service is not available to investigate or screen another person.
Does Identity Exposure access private accounts or guarantee complete discovery?
No. It uses approved public and lawfully accessible sources within the agreed scope. It does not bypass access controls, enter private accounts, or guarantee that every possible item will be found.
Data and privacy
What information does the Checkup need?
It asks structured questions about tools, settings, habits, and broad context. Do not provide passwords, recovery codes, government IDs, payment-card details, or other authentication secrets.
Is optional marketing consent required?
No. Service-request and transactional communication are separate from optional marketing consent.
How can I request a correction or deletion?
Use the Contact page and choose the correction or data-request category. Avernic may need to verify identity before acting, but you should not send identity documents unless a specific secure method is provided.
Does Avernic sell Checkup answers?
No. Recommendation eligibility, priority, and ordering are not driven by affiliate compensation or commercial opportunity.
Service limitations
Is Avernic professional legal, financial, or cybersecurity advice?
No. Avernic provides educational planning and decision support and does not replace qualified legal, financial, cybersecurity, medical, emergency, law-enforcement, or victim-support professionals.
Does Avernic provide monitoring, removal, or incident response?

Still have a question?
Ask without sending passwords, identity documents, account details, or an incident narrative.
